Website monitoring service/how do you monitor your websites?

    I have been happy with my hosting service but recently I found that my sites are down a lot.
    Normally I check my site 12/15 times a day. Almost everyday I found my sites are down more than one occasion which is not good. I think it is time change hosting.

    Before I do that, I like to monitor my sites for few days to see how many times they are really down. I search Google and there are quite a few site monitoring service and some of then are free too.

    I was wondering if anyone has experience with any of those services and recommend me which one to use.
    Also if there is any alternative way to monitor site that information would be great.

    i use host-tracker.com for my all website and i am using them from last 2 years and quite happy with their services and its free :)

    We use http://host-tracker.com, with all those features, and it works very well. No complaints.
