Does anyone see these 3 paragraphs too harsh for a website maintenance contract? If you do, what would your suggestions be to change it to meet website maintenance contract standards.

Payment of Fees. Bills will be deemed delinquent and assessed a $35.00 charge if payment is not received within 5 days after the due date. If an amount remains delinquent 10 days after its due date, an additional 30% penalty will be added for each month of delinquency.

Payments. The client will be invoiced monthly for the fee of the Website Maintenance Package. After October 1, 2009, the Website Maintenance Contract will automatically be renewal for exactly 1 year, each year unless client terminates the contract 30 days before the Website Maintenance Contract automatically renewals itself.

Cancellation Fee. If the client terminates this Website Maintenance Contract by a written order, word of mouth, breach of contract, or non-payment, the client shall be responsible for 50% of the full amount remaining time of this
contract. If the client terminates the contract 30 days before the Website Maintenance Contract automatically renewals itself, the client is not responsible for paying 50% of the full amount remaining time of the contract.
