    Dear Wordpress Experts,

I have a website/blog in wordpress, I am using aggregate from elegant themes and I am using Hostgator's Hosting. My problem is that my website's loading time is too much, its almost 1minute. Any suggestions from experts to reduce this loading time.?

    Thanks and Regads

You have to talk with your host about that.

    Loads pretty average for me.
Forgive my link dropping, but I just wrote a blog post about this a couple of weeks ago:
    http://haroldmansfield.com/common-reasons-why-your-wordpress-site-is-running-slow/

Assuming you purchased your theme from the source, we can probably rule out coding errors ( at least from the theme) since Elegant Themes is pretty good.

The most common problems are too many plug ins, Mac Mail, Crappy Hosting, too many sites on your hosting account, and waiting for 3rd party scripts and RSS feeds to load ( ads, Facebook, and especially Twitter feed plug ins).

    Common solutions:
Check your plug ins and remove any that you aren't using. Also use less if you are running many.
Use a cache plug in. I like W3 Total Cache. Ask you host to help set it up.
Check any HTML code that you may have added, or edits that you may have done to the theme and make sure that it is correct and you have closed all of your tags.
    Upgrade your hosting.
Get a dedicated IP address for the site in question.

    W3 total Cache:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/w3-total-cache/

You should check with your host first. Some hosts recommend specific cache plug ins that work best with their server configuration.
For instance, Go Daddy always recommends WP- Super Cache:

check this tools and you will see...

    tools.pingdom.com/fpt

its speed loading test. if there anything wont appear wrong, its your host then.

or maybe u can try to load your site from a different location, using i.e. anynimizer like anonymouse dot org

Well, tested through tools.pingdom.com now and they said "Your website is faster than 73% of all tested websites". Means a bit better?

there should be some graphs below the URL form..

how many seconds did it take to load whole page for the pingdom tester?

and did you try the anonymouse.org .. try how quickly page loads.

Have you tried Slicehost? Their hosting platform is much faster and it is really cheap.

Do you have some picture or video on your page that is slowing down the load? I have seen people put up a graphic and they they think it is small because it is small on the page, but when you check the file size it is a huge file.
