Website load time too high.. Please help

My site - NMOV.com is a Wordpress based website where I link to latest movie rips, etc.

The website isn't too old .. just 1 week since I started working on it. The load time for the site is too high and sometimes it just doesn't open ( gives me a 503 Error )

I have used a cPanel redirect to redirect all traffic from nmov.com to nmov.com/watchmoviesonline. Could this be causing the delay ?

Or is it the Wordpress that is causing such high load times ? Or is it the host ? Because all of my other websites are also having the same problem. I contacted the host and they asked me to clear my cache and try again ( which I did but, it didn't help )

Please help me out. Would appreciate any help.

First of all when I enter the site the main page is an index one.
I think that means that your redirect wasn`t made properly.
When I press directory watchmoviesonline it just loads but with no effect.
Another question. Did u played with the ftp read acces? Changed from 666 into other numbers or something else?

Well, What do you guys use to redirect a page to another one ? I used the usual cPanel redirection tool.

I didn't do anything to the ftp access thing. What file should I check in the FTP a/c though ?

You could install WP-super cache. That will help loading times.
Search on google and run a server load rest and do a speed test on your datacenter.
Make sure your plugins aren't acting up, and you don't have something running automatically that isn't set properly.

I access the website recently via Firefox and I didn't notice that it's taking to much time to load.

Agreed, take action about it or change provider.
