website indexing

Hi guys,

I need an advice on google indexing of my new website http://www.todaytourism.com. I submitted my xml sitemap ( http://www.todaytourism.com/sitemap.xml ) to google webmaster tools area, but google do not want to index my website (only 77 pages from 22000 pages until now).
How long does it take to index all ? How can I help to index my website faster.

I'm seeing just over 500 pages (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:todaytourism.com&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&pws=0 - I can't hotlink yet, as I've only just signed up) indexed at the moment, but you'll get a more accurate reading from GWT. It'll take a bit of time for all 22,000 pages to show up in the index, but just have patience. You can check your crawl rate stats in GWT (Diagnostics>Crawl Stats) and also set the Crawl Rate (Site Configuration>Settings) but be careful, you don't want to stop Google from indexing your site all together.

As long as your robots.txt isn't blocking any pages (I've checked, and it isn't) and you've not blocked robots with a meta robots tag on the page, then they'll begin to appear slowly but surely. Remember, the bottom line is, Google wants your content and will index it as long as you allow it to!

use Atom.xml.. its the best for the bloggers..

Anyways, google would take more time than we think for indexing.. Please wait for another couple of weeks.

I will take some time so please be patience. Also promote your pages using offpage techniques as it will increase the chances

 

damn thats so many pages! my sitemap only has 14! not indexed yet...stillllll waiting

well you need waiting few days more. i must say wait for more time.

 

It took long enought but my site now has many indexed pages http://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.todaytourism.com

When I went to one of you pages, it took over 30 seconds to load. Have you checked Google's Webmaster Tools yet to see it there are timeouts or other problems caused by the slow load. Also, check to see if the database indexs are ordered correctly.

If your site page are not indexing then you could do submission on Google Search engine Directories, RSS submissions.Beside this you can create page on aboutus.org.These stuffs may definitely help you lot.
