    Hello,

I have about a 2 weeks old website which has about 30 indexed web pages in Google, but when I search for a specific keywords I cannot find it int the SERPS. How is it possible?
When I search for my website in Yahoo then I can easily find it in the 2nd or the 3rd page.
I'm little afraid that the page is banned, but or so, but then I think it also wouldn't be indexed. Or it took a while to get some "ranks"?

    Thank you for any ideas.

You are indexed, but this does not mean you will rank for the keyword you're searching for, and if you do rank, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be at the top.

I don't think you're banned. if you're site comes up in Google when you type site:yoursitehere.com then you're definately not banned.

It may take some time to get a better rank, or you may not ever see it near the top. It's difficult to sugest anything because I don't know your URL or the particular keyword you expect to rank for.

Finally, Yahoo and Google are completely independant of each other, they work in different ways. Ranking well on one doesn't necessarily mean you'll rank better on the other.

Thank you T_Media. I know that I will not be at the top, but I just can't believe that I can't see my website on any page (I search through all the results). I have also some long tail keywords, so I thought I will rank for them. But okay I hope that in a short time it changes. (BTW: the website is the first link in my sig.)

It takes on an average 4 weeks to see brand new website in SERP. However, in 2 weeks Google may index your pages. To get better SERP position, start link building and don't stop adding more content.

    Best of luck ... cheers!
