I was wondering if anyone knows of any programs that change the language of your website when it is viewed from international ip addresses?? Is that included in the package with the Hosting company? Im sorry for asking this question... but Im new to this... so if anyone can help me that would be greatly appreciated. Also, what languages do you have on your own if you have one...?? -FrannyJ
I dont know of any.... I know that it came with my package with my web hosting company. Have you tried to call your web hosting company and see what they said??
Our website is only in english as our target market is mainly the UK with secondary work coming from the USA. Whilst we have never used it as we are .Net programmers a fair number of people have previous recommended GeoIP as a good script for customising a site based on the visitors country located by the IP address. Worth noting that there are plenty of cases where this will fall down due to the IP mapping to somewhere other than where they are physically located.
