Dear All I have a domain by name gurla.com and thought of running some personal stuff on it. But now I want to make it commercial and run adsense on it. Can someone suggest me what I can make with that domain name? please advice. cheers prasad..
What made you buy/register that domain to start with? I.e. - what does gurla mean? Run a site on that. Always, IMO, run a site on a subject which you know about and which intrigues you, otherwise it all seems a bit pointless. Working on something you don't like is soul-destroying.
actually gurla is my family name and so i thought of making a site with photos for my brothers and myself. I dont know what to do with it. please guys and gals more suggestions please. cheers prasad gurla.
MySpace sites it seems have been earning a lot of money and the domain really doesn't even matter it could just be gurla. It would be good too because you won't have myspace in the domain.
You can make a personal blog where you talk about all that interests you, e.g cars, tech stuffs and so on, adsense will be fine on it, you will also not "run out" of content. Good Luck
personal blog is a good idea as you told the content can be endless... myspace? pardon my ignorance but what are these kinds of sites?
thanks for the info. good ideas. I was initially thinking about a recipe site but had a recipe section on one of my other websites and so donot want to duplicate it. I will just wait to see if anybody else had any more suggestions. I want this site to generate adsense revenue even if i dont enjoy working on something vague. cheers prasad..
how about making it a search engine? search engines sometimes have funny names like that. (not that your surname is funny. but it would be for a search engine)
wow! wonderful logo. Thanks to all of you for your wonderful ideas. how about a web directory of all indiansites (I have some local ideas!) cheers prasad..
It wasn't that wonderful, I was gonna make you a logo with a site idea attached but I said forget it lol I so I scrapped part of it that just had GURLA.
