I have an idea and would like to know if you would pay for it

Ask____.com I would insert a name. It would be basically like askabby, but for ANYTHING.

I would just have a page and they would ask a question, submit it, I would then reply and send them an email if they want the answer, they have to sign up for a membership, or get a quick answer for 1 dollar.

Please give ideas on ho to improve the site.

Add Professionals in every field to answer and you can share the revenue with them! Just look at Google Answers!(It is not present now.. But look at their business model.. It was a failure. Beware of that too..)
    All the best!

Yahoo Answers seems to be working well, they don't hcarge for answers though.

At least at first (while building links and traffic) I'd give some answers for free, and use Adsense for a little revenue.

You can preload it with some questions that will provide good SE bait.

Get 5 overall proffesionals for a wide topic
Then caterogorize each question and send it to that proffesional
Split the revenue that you sent to the proffesional with him and you

The informatoin they are looking for would have to be pretty in-depth. Between wikipedia and google i can pretty much find the answer to any question i could ever think of. That being said, my parents in their 60s can barely find google, let alone figure out how to answer a question ;)

There are some websites like this running that let users answer to each others questions. Like Yahoo answers but they're more like entertainment.
