I'm looking to buy a website mainly used as a forum. What would be the easiest way for me to do that? and allow me to put some google adsense ads at the top of my pages. I was thinking of uploading a phpbb2 onto a FTP and running it off there, but how would i make other webpages/attach ads? If this is the wrong forum could you please...redirect me somewhere else, thanks.
First of all you can do that by signing up for any Forum Hosts Online. They give you all the Forums for Free. NOT VBulletin though, its a costly project. If you are just looking for a Forum then you can do that the way I have told you on the top. If you want a Website + Hosting then I'll recommend that you find some good Cheap hosting Company that'll give you CPanel, as newbies usually find it difficult to install Pre-Application Scripts though its quite Simple. You can use your Domain or go for a subdomain. As for Google Adsense. As long as you have a Web URL link in http:// and as long as the Google Verifies it as Legal, you can put your Ads on both Free and Paid Areas.
