website help

I was wondering if there was any software which I could upload script, create a website, before picking hosting and uploading it. like play around with design and content before uploading it to hosting company?

 

Wamp - Windows, apach, MySql package for localhost also. Free and its a full server pack.

If your computer's OS is Windows XP Pro or higher than you have Win IIS server localhost installed and you can run any website package written in ASP

 

And MAMP if you using a MAC machine

 

can you guide me more through this senario,,,, whats my first step? download apache?

 

if I get the wamp, I can upload script software? and see the script in action, like you would see your website content?

 

Hi, I ran into this before and the best thing you can do is Install Apache, PHP & mySQL

Xampp Will Do Great Supports Mysql and Apache too

thanks guys ,,, I downloaded wamp server and installed it... so what is my next step ( sorry very new at this, but very interested in learning)

so I create a database with phpmyadmin? so how do I upload a script and will I be able to view it?
