    Hello,

    I am currently trying to make a website for a friend's wife and have hit a stumbling block. I am using a template and have successfully created a Gallery Page 1 (gallery.html was provided with the template download) but am having trouble creating Gallery Page 2. I managed to create the first page by replacing the template pictures with my own (renaming my own pictures to the exact name of the template picture) but cannot create the second page. I think I might have to edit the styles.css file - I am using Frontpage to make the site and don't have a good enough understanding to create the second page. It should be a very simple fix for someone with the know-how. I am willing to pay a little if someone could make th second page for me and explain how you did it.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mark

    ps. Does anyone know of any irc channels for website design help? If so could you reply with the channel and network name? Thanks.

    Why struggling.There are tons of free websites to help you learn HTML try this w3schools.com its clean and easy to understand.
    Just copy the first page and rename it ex: page2.html and make a link on the first page.Frontpage has all the options you need to build a website.

    For a beginner it was a little more complicated. I had to edit the styles.css to include more pictures (something I had 0 experience with);

    .g1 {
    background:url(images/img31.jpg) left top no-repeat;}

    The only reason I was looking for someone to do it for me rather than take the time to learn myself is because it's a birthday gift for a friend's wife and the "deadline" is approaching. Anyways, thanks for the reply.

    I pretty new to html/css as well. I have a website with a facebook likebox. My website is used primarily in schools, where facebook is blocked. I want to keep the likebox on there and I don't care if kids don't have access to that part at school. The problem is that the little like box says "html error" and looks really ugly when it's blocked. I would like to have an alternative display (of my logo or something else) so that it doesn't look so ugly when blocked. Does anyone know how to do this? The likebox is an iframe.

    Make a new page in Frontpage and create a link between it and your home page. In the future, I would recommend not using Frontpage for web design. I found it cumbersome when I made my first web page years ago. If you don't feel comfortable writing a page by hand (or you don't have the time to learn it), then I would go with a program like Amaya or Kompozer. Ideally though, you should try to learn HTML. It's not hard to get the basics and in the end you'll have an easier time creating your web page because you will know exactly how it works.
