    Hello,

I am in need of a header for the following website:

The slogan to incorporate into the header is:

Maximizing your household budget with easy budgeting tips.

The size of the header is 792x220

This website offers tips on how to manage money, create your budget, save money and stretch your budget. The site will have tools, mortgage calculators and other money saving resources.

I am open to ideas and your creative input with regards to the header. I would like it to look professional yet innovative, with a bit of web 2.0 feel. Please have the header include images not just text, possibly images of money, a house, calculator, etc. I need a header that puts together money and a house in one.

With color scheme - Please take a look at the below template to see the blue/light blue / grey blue theme. I will not be using any orange. I would like the header to match the rest of the site.

    Template: http://test.wpthemesfree.com/?preview_theme=vivoxia-10

Payment will be instant via PayPal once the winner is chosen. I need the files in PSD as well as a simple JPG or GIF web ready format.

This content will last a maximum of 48 hours - although it may end in advance if a winner is selected.

Thank you to all who have submitted entries - below is my feedback

TotalX90 - Your entry missed the mark a bit with regards to color scheme. Also, there is a great deal going on in this header, a bit too much to look at.

Yugo - Your entry was good in color scheme, but the images look a bit cut and pasted in. Also, it is hard to read the slogan at the bottom as the color is a bit too close to the background.

DesignChampion - I felt that the color scheme was good -but the man staring at me is a bit old school - alos, a great dead of the header was dedicated to a keyboard and this is not very compelling.

For all interested - Overall I want to stress that the header should be a bit more web 2.0 - not one dimensional or old school. More of a round, easy to see / read, fun two dimensional look. Feel free to be creative and create what you feel would be best suited.

Thank you again to all who have entered, and those who are in the process of doing so!

Hello DesignChampion - thank you for the revision. Unfortunately, we really want a sophisticated look, and this looks a bit more sales oriented. Also, the images seem very old-school. It has so much going on that it is a bit hard for the eyes to focus. I do appreciate your efforts, but I will pass on this version. I will say that you did a nice job on the color scheme and I can see that you attempted to convey the message of the site, it just did not connect for me.

    Hello Duez,

Thank you for your entry. I am looking for something a little easier on the eye, there is just so much going on in this header that it is hard to read the name of the company.

UPDATE ++ I feel that I must be more clear to help make this an easier project. Therefore, below please find a link to an image which I feel would capture a web 2.0 look and incorporate a theme:

    http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/concepts-and-ideas/6166985-real-estate-xxl.php?id=6166985

Possibly the balance board could be blue, but something like this with our company name and logo incorporated into the theme would be clean, professional and capture the look we desire.

Hello Thestreetgamer - Good color choice, but the background is rather confusing with house on top of house. The style is also layered yes, but not web 2.0. Please see my latest response, also pasted below:

Banner. I opted for something different, as clearly household is a family not a house itself, so I decided to go with a new concept, and keep it simple. Web 2.0 touch could be added if needed.

Hello Xavier - I appreciate your unique approach. However, our audience will be of all ethnic groups, thus I find some may have a hard time relating to this approach. Also it appears that there are euros in the wallet, and as this is a US based site, Dollars would be more appropriate. I would prefer that we do not have people in the header, as everyone can relate with inanimate objects, such as money, a home, etc. If you review my last message you will find a link to an image that I find best suits our style. Web 2.0 is a necessity.
