Hi Has anyone seen a mod which would allow the editor to give websites marks and rank them by the marks ? I don't mean a voting system for users,
seems like a good idea, but u'll prob be flooded with spam votes and u'll never be able to separate out the genuine ones from those not unless your directories require users to register......
he wants the editors not users to grade the websites. This can easily be done but not a great idea for paid directories I think.
One time I had an idea to make people vote on a few sites before they could submit their own site, but I never did this. I also have this: http://www.businessplexus.com/rating/ It is a mod I never released, and the only weakness is when a site has code to bring it out of frames. I know vsdan did a rating mod as well.
On reflection, its probably not a good idea for a new directory, it would probably create a lot of angry webmasters Thanks all, i'll forget that one
