    Maybe with some of these features:
    Ratings, comments and with categories.

    I have not looked at it in a while, but does Coppermine Photo Gallery offer this? I believe it may, but I could be wrong.

    Coppermine Photo Gallery is probably your best bet. One of the best gallery scripts on the net, plus its open source.
