I registered my domain and installed wordpress via Godaddy. Now I want to change the theme, but have no idea how. Can someone recommend a good theme for freelance writers. Also, is there a system to install it with ease on Godaddy. Thanks in advance.
You will have to put a new theme in your files and then activate it from the dashboard. You shouldn't of got godaddy they are a major pain to work with. Well "mate" ! cpanel is an industry standard in hosting you can upload zipped files like Themes.. and easily unzip them. Godaay does not have cpanel.. they have a poor file browser which is to very difficult to use.. This link is a garbage advertising site full of ads it has one small paragraph surrounded by junk ads. Are you familiar with FTP software just like filezilla? Download and install this software for you can definitely use this in changing wordpress theme. Then proceed to youtube.com for this site can provide you a lot of great tutorial videos about it. I hope this could be of help.
