according to me the design is based on ready template, if you are planning to go for SEO you will not get good results since website is based on ready template. Also this kind of website needs lots of creativity since the TOPIC which you have selected to design the website is all together. May be client who has asked you to design the website will not be happy with the design.

I would slow the flash down about 5 fps ... just a suggestion ... When people think of wine and tastings and restaurants, they think relaxed, this gives a feeling like you are trying to rush the experience. Nice work and nice pics though.

Can someone explain why spygadget says that using template is bad for SEO. Isn't it the content that matters?

From what I understand, using a template is not bad for SEO as long as the template is not overused (e.g. -- 10,000 sites use the same one)

I have a friend who has a site that is completely based on a template ... it is on the front page of google.

I think that the reference was made to cookie-cutter templates. If several sites are using the same design, it looks like they are clones ... hence the bad rating by Google.

If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me on this.
