I have a website which offers some service. (Imagine)

I have seen that there are some stuffs which add value to a website. For example the service of sitepal.com add interactivity to the website when someone comes on the screen and animates.

I would like to know all such value additions. When we are spending so much on advertising, it is also important to retain a customer.

I need your help.. please put in your valuable suggestions!

You need to add something to your site that fits your niche and is useful/interesting/funny... We can't help you with that if we don't know your actual niche.

Honestly, I'd focus on content before add-ons. And you might find that investing the little amount in your own domain name would payoff in big ways.

Well I would say feeback from customers would be a start, also depending on the topic, mabe a forum section to keep your website active and help it grow without too much maintainance.

Go for the content first yes but if noone sees it how will they know its there you have to balance with promotion until you get listed by marketing. The content alone won't do anything but then neither will the marketing you need to work on both really.

    What service are you offering?

Get content first, then promote it. Promoting an empty website is not going to do any good.
