After my site went down due to technical problems (backup lost) Google removed my site from their index, a week later i rebuilt my website from scratch and it has been running for over two months now and still not indexed by Google while other search engines such as yahoo! are crowling my site on a regular basis. What should i do to get my site re-indexed .

It might have been the problem of duplicate content (if you had some of the old pages still exist)...but as you said, you have the site indexed in yahoo, don't worry for anything...go ahead and create a sitemap and submit it to Google webmaster tools account...within a week you will get to see your site indexed...still if the problem continues I can give a hand...peace!

It has happened with one of my sites - my site was dropped out of Google index, but the PR still showed on google toolbar. I then built some strong backlinks and my site was re-indexed within a week and regained all its rankings.

This is a normal instance dude. Google will take time for their spiders to crawl your new site.

just refuel your SEO activities and wait for a while until Google returns and crawls your site..also if you may, check or submit your site to Webmaster Tools -Google

Not indexing?!.. you must have a duplicate content!.. Are you using the same content after rebuilding your site?

You'll get indexed sooner or later. Don't worry about that.
