Website doesn't update in my browser no matter WHAT I do

I got a new domain tonight and forwarded my old one to my new one (in godaddy) but then I did a header check and apparently godaddy lies. Their 301 redirect is actually a 302.

At this point my olddomain.com still goes to my site (without redirecting) on MY computer, but for everyone else that goes to it, it redirects to the new domain as normal.

So now I put my old domain on another hosting account and do a 301 in .htaccess. Now it's doing an appropriate 301 redirect and everything's good. Except guess what? on my computer, olddomain.com still doesn't redirect. It just goes to my site as if I've never had a new domain or did any redirects. I've restarted, cleared all history, tried all my browsers, nothing works. But for other people it works fine. WHY

Tell me if it works for you:

old domain that I have redirected to new one:
    http://www.musiciansplaza.com

    New domain:
    http://www.stratocastertalk.com

Tell me if musiciansplaza redirects to stratocastertalk or not! For me, it stays saying musiciansplaza.com in my browser.

    For me it redirects.

It could be a cached page at the ISP level. If you hit the same page a lot they cache it.

In IE change your setting to force page reload or use shift/refresh. In FF right click and force reload.

Just wait for the cache to clear. :)

I've tried doing a hard refresh and that doesn't work either. It must be my ISP because something similar happened one other time. A guy was once showed me his new site, but all it showed for me was the hosts site (coming soon..or something) as if he hadn't uploaded any form of web page yet. But for him and everyone else it showed his site.

ps. I'm a lucky dial up user.

For your peace of mind why don't you check it through a proxy site. Then you will feel better and know you just have to wait a few hours more.

It's working now, it just took time. But the image URL's on my forum are using the old domain! The images still show up on the site because of the 301 I did. But I still don't know why it's doing this.

My forum is powered by SMF

EDIT: Problem solved. I had tp update some url paths that were still using the old domain.
