    Hi,
I am having a problem with my wordpress site. Everything was working fine untill yesterday, when I was unable to open the homepage of my website. I tried many times and finally it was loaded but took eternity to do so. But from there I couldn't open any of the link on my website. Google analytics is showing normal traffic but I am not even able to open the wordpress admin page nor the cpanel dashboard.

I've contacted my webhost and they've said that some scripts installed on my blogs are causing this to happen by using too many cpu resources. here is the link to the website www.zupdates.com.

please tell me if anything like this has ever happened to you and please suggest me a solution to the problem

You need to upgrade your hosting account. If it is a resource issue you only have too options: 1) Bigger hosting account with more resources OR 2) Downgrade WP so it uses less resources. In the end the second option is only temporary. As you get more customers you will continue to use more resources and ultimately have to upgrade any way. If you can't log into your cpanel to do this then you will need to contact the host and have them do it for you on their side.

However if you prefer to use option 2, the easiest way is to start by disabling all your plugins. If you can not access the wp admin area then you will need to FTP into the account and rename each plugin folder manually. This will force wp to disable the plugin and free up your resources.

Have you contacted your hosting provider about the problem?

Thanx for taking the time to reply. My site is using only few MegaBytes around 90 MB's, which is way lesser than the allotted disk space. CPU resources and used bandwidth is also not that significant, as I've only installed very basic and necessary plugins and daily hits on my website is around 600-800 only. Besides, if resources were the problem why am I facing this problem just now.

And yes I've contacted the webhost, they're saying that some scripts are causing the website to slow down. But the thing is, I haven't installed any new plugins etc lately to my website. So is it the problem at their end (the webhost company) or should I do something about it? and do tell me if you were able to access the website and some of the other pages on it, as google analytics is showing some traffic (though a bit lesser than the regular traffic) and webmaster tools isn't showing any malware threat or any other irregularity

    Hello,

This issue is due to the some addition script which is currently added somewhere inside your site which is making it slow (mainly placed by hackers by using some injections or loop holes in loose bundled plugins) which is using more resources as mentioned by the hosting company which is making your site slow. Your site need a code review by some security expert like me who will find out the reason and make it clear and secure it from similar future issue. Hope all explanation make some sense to you.

Please feel free to contact if you have any queries in this or I will help you any where to resolve this issue.

    Aty
