I am experiencing an issue where one of my websites use to appeaar under a certain keyword on a certain page on Google, but now my website doesn't show at all on any page under the keyword.

    For example:

Say you are trying to get to the top ten list under the keyword: Best Forums

So then, in google, when you search for, "Best Forums" , you check to see what page you are on, and start building more backlinks with "Best Forums" as your title etc.. so that you can appear closer and closer to page "1" when someone searches for "Best Forums".

Now, this is what I was doing, and it was going great. I had moved from page 15 to 11 in almost a weak. But then one day, when I checked to see what page I was on, my website was not listed on any page (not 11, 10, 15..20..etc).

So it's like my whole site got deleted from the keyword or something, but the website is still indexed in google, but just not for the keyword it appears....

Any help is appreciated on what is causing this.

Sometimes google filters the site for specific keywords and usually it comes back even in better position than it was before. Don't panic, wait few weeks then start to worry if it wont come back.

Yeah I mean, in a way that would make sense, but, like I wasn't listed on pages (20+....30..etc) it's like I was totally wiped out. So I could see if I went back a few pages, but to not be listed at all was werid, so I hope freeman is right. :D

i don't agree with this. I also experience Hasty's problem. My site ranks high for a specific keyword. And then suddenly poof, it became "coco crunch". LOL. The ranking of the search term lost, and it does not come back to it's old position or even close. Maybe your site is new, All i can see is that it was given by Google a boost on its ranking. Google gives content boost on those site that are new. Anyway, i agree to basketman that you should reSEO the website and get more links, i prefer those quality links. Hope that helps.

Just a quick update for future people who find this useful. My site did come back, and it was on a better spot on google than before, so freeman was right. However, the cause, I'm still not sure.
