I've started a new article directory and I now use an iMAC as my main computer (an loving it). However my site colours, etc look different on the chrome browser on my old PC. Its a bit frustrating having to go between the two to get a balance that works right on both platforms. Has anyone else found this to be a problem?

Can anyone also suggest a good way to design a header and other theme through an iMAC. Any apps designed to do this? I don't have Microsoft office on my iMAC yet so please don't suggest powerpoint or other normal PC routes. Please suggest the best way on a MAC.

Many thanks to any reply posts.

To design your header I wouldn't use anything from Microsoft Office you would need a proper graphics package.
I don't know which are the best for the iMac but surely there are some Adobe software packages you could download a free trial off.

As with the colour issues this is something that happens on different OS, browsers etc. You should be using a CSS reset so that all the styles are the same for each browser.
You can also use a code to check which OS is being used and redirect to different CSS files for different browsers.
