Contest Website Design Competition - $100 - Simple Design

Hi,

We have a design that we need doing, it will be quite a simple job in terms of features but we want it to look up-market.

I will be submitting completed designs to the client and the chosen design of roughly 5 of the designs I will submit will win.

There may be some minor changes on the winning design but we will take over and complete the other pages once the homepage has been selected and signed off.

There may be future work in this for someone too. We currently have 150 clients for website design/development so we are always busy and needing work.

The Site
Kitchen Design is what the client does.
The client has expressed a like on this website. http://www.connaughtkitchens.co.uk/
http://www.kitchencoordination.co.uk is the current website. You can download the logo from there.
I know the logo is purple but it doesnt nessarily mean the site has to be, completely free reign on this. (I am not saying it cant be purple though).
The sitemap of the current website will be used for the new design.

Some possible features to use on the homepage are:-

Short Introduction
Copyright
Top Menu
Footer Menu

The competition will last 1 week but will be extended if there is less than 5 entries. Hopefully there are lots of entries! As I say, its not a complex design job. Anyone with an eye for design will be suited to this role.

Just to clarify. The design is PSD only. We have HTML coders.

I just received notes that client really likes www.rational.de

I hope that helps instead of hinder.

Magazine features that you can see on clients current site are important to her. You can use these as resources too.

It seems recently there are many $100 website design competition and the contest holder never updated back the winner anymore... Not sure if it's just my feeling, it seems they just offer with $100 gimmick to attract many participants. Lesson for me to better take the smaller prize contest which is more guaranteed rather than big one like this.

Hey, CH! Being silent without any update, huh? Although you just say, "wait, will be back" or anything is better than silence. Please think if you are standing in our position. Would it be fair? You treat us like this, I am sure you will get someone treat you like this in the future
