Hello everyone. I have been snooping around the site for a few days, and I am learning alot, so thank you for all the content.

Secondly, I have a mobile computer repair business here in El Paso, Texas, and I have a website for it, < a href="http://www.speedycomputerservice.com> http://www.speedycomputerservice.com</a> . This website was built from a template, and suited for my needs.

Basically I would like the collective wisdom of the crowd to give me any advice that seems prudent for the site. Any and all responses are appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Regards

for me, the biggest thing is the site's size.. make it a bit wider.
    needs more content
    other than that, not bad!

    Hi Chris,

The fact that the site is plain is really an advantage. People need information, not fancy look, from computer technicians.

I believe this sentence: "Visit our service page to see our services and our prices, and feel free to contact us to schedule an appointment, and have one of our computer technicians come to your home or office." — is not necessary on the front page, because you already have those menu items. Instead, write something about your big experience and quality of service. Add your photo, like you personally invite people. Everybody likes it.

Also, the night city, though looks pretty good, IMHO is not related to your services. You need some hardware images, like open desktop cases, cables, etc :)

But even without those suggestions, the site is good. Good luck in your business!

    My advice here
is put some additional stuff on it.
    simple yet elegant stuff.
    Images and the logo.
    Just add.
    Your site is too simple.
But i understand i think its a new site.
If you want to improve a site
you can hire a web developer on that.

I think the site is good. As others have said, an image on the homepage along with increasing the width might help.

Maybe space the information on the contact page out a little. It's not difficult to find your phone number or email address but you really want it to stand out from the page. Actually, it might be worth putting your phone number on the home page?

There are quite a few things that you can do with this website. First of all, you should create a header that is more appealing to the eye along with logo design that represents what your website is all about. You could definitely do with some more content on the first page such as images, icons and text. I also think that the main page area is a little bit narrow.

Visit some other websites which are similar to yours and see if you can get some ideas...this always helps me.

    Hope all goes well :)
