I'm not sure where else to put this but it pertains to people's businesses so I figured I would try here.

How much would it cost, in peices, to do the following:

1)Advanced website design in photoshop to yield a few .psd files
2)Converting the .psd to a navigate-able .html website (multiple pages)
3)Creating a custom script and applying it to the website(log in system, ect...)
    4)ORApplying a script to a website

I'm wondering for my future business idea. Thanks all!

If done well; about $1000. Custom scripts is a bit broad though... Post details or PM me for anything custom you would want quoted.

I'm not asking for a total, sorry. I'm wondering the cost of each piece and a wide range is fine I know there would be.

It depends on many things and who will do it

My advice use a freelance site

    and use a designer + a coder

1)Advanced website design in photoshop to yield a few .psd files - Go to tutorialized.com & get some nice designs form there.
2)Converting the .psd to a navigate-able .html website (multiple pages) - In Photoshop this is done Automatically, so only takes about 20 sec to do.
3)Creating a custom script and applying it to the website(log in system, ect...) - Lot of niches out there already have a free script made for it.
4)OR Applying a script to a website - it all depends on what you are making

so basically you are spending money only on hosting and domain name if you can design and slice with photoshop and then find a good, secure, free script.

what you are asking is really difficult to answer.

Its like saying, "I want a car, how much is a car".

Well, do you want a ford or a ferrari? There is a HUGE difference in prices from a poorly designed small budget website or a template website, which you can get for $100, or a proper professionally designed website which can cost $100,000+

You need a firm idea first and preferrably some structured definitions of what you want.

I'm looking for the average. If someone asked me how much a car was, I'd say anywhere from $30k to $40k for a pretty good new one.

I'm not asking how much it will cost me and how I can do it... I'm asking the running price for each of these services.
