Hello all. I recently started "pushing" my web design site. Visitors have gone from 700 in Feb to ~3500 in Jun. Google backlinks have gone from 26 to over 1500 (via webmaster tools), and I'm finally starting to get some traffic from searches. Current PR is still a big goose egg, but next estimated PR is 5 (hoping to knock out a 6 with more work). Although during this time I've been redesigning, tweaking, adding on to site, etc. I'd still expect to be making more sales from the site (most sales I get now are word of mouth). Anyway, I've stream-lined the path from home page to adding to cart but I'm still not seeing better results. I'm thinking of getting a marketing specialist in the future, unless you guys have any ideas. Thankz in advance for your help
Check your stats and see where your users are bouncing on your site, also see if people are coming in for "free" words on the SE's, as they may just be looking for free templates. Also look into making a hand-full of free templates, and dump them into a email newsletter. Get your user's email and names them keep pitching the users even after they left your site. ;p
