Website consulting services

My site is currently hosted by my site developer. I am interested in moving it to a different hosting service and terminating my relations with my current developer. For many reasons, I just think it is time to move on.

Basically, what I would need is someone to consult with me during the transition process. I would do as much myself as possible, but I am not confident doing it all alone.

Currently, I have access to a page editor to make content changes and additions to the site. Once the transition is complete, I would also like to have the ability to add pages to the site on my own. That is something I don't currently have access to now which makes it very hard to add content when I have to pay for each page to be set up. I would need someone to set it up so I would be able to do this myself.

I really have no idea how much to charge for something like this, but I do know I would rather pay a sum for the entire job rather than a per hour basis.

Sometime down the line, I will also need the services of a programmer for site updates and changes and for support on a per job basis. This may include a site redesign and removal of frames as well as additions to our hosting service. If I can build a good working relationship with the person assisting me during the transition process, I would hire them as my site programmer when needed.

If anyone is interested in discussing this further, please let me know.

    Thanks.
