my site http://www.irapidshare.com keeps displaying the message .. website coming soon my hosting is with godaddy.com ( whats the ftp for the godaddy.com ) any one can help me? what can be the possible reason .. i uploaded many times using dreamweaver .. thanks please help and rely now
i'm willing to bet the problem is with your hosting provider.. godaddy is the worst hosting provider I have ever seen
I've actually never experienced any problems with godaddy other than their hosting being a bit slow.. but yeah, did you upload any "index.*" files? like index.html, index.php? The server is generally set to display the index.* file first. If it can't find it, it'll then display a "coming soon" thing (depending on the server).
I do agree with you There is a fact to keep in mind, is the OP hosted on paid plan? Free hosting attached to your domain does not grant you FTP acccess. However the coming soon page makes me believe you got a "website tonight" or similar plan with no FTP access either but needing to press "publish" within your file manager in order to get rid of the temporary page.
