Website Color Scheme Help

I'm designing my website myself for a free phpbb forums website, and I'm stuck on the color scheme. -.-

The site is sourforum [dot] com. Right now, I'm going on the lime green colors for the "sour" feel. My brother says it doesn't look good, but I'm looking for a second opinion (ignore the logo at the moment). So what do you think?

Hey--I think the colors are pretty nice if you ask me and you did, right?:)
Not bad at all--the light purple sets it off nice! Good Luck and when is the site going to be up cause one of the links on the site caught my eye--the create a forum link--what's that about?

Try changing the light gray background color to white color? It'd make the site looks more 'sour feel' and 'lime feel'. Just my 2 cents. Overall, it looks pretty good.

Thanks for sharing this. The color scheme tool helps for my upcoming sites too. :)

When using a lime green I think white would give the design a really crisp and clean look. The grey does not look as good as white would.

I would also try White instead of the grey.

Maybe dark grey (close to black) and a lime green colour.
Somthing like THIS but instead of the cyan, make it lime green.

I get the same message: "Your MF may not installed, click here to install."

Maybe I'm paranoid, but there is no way I'm going to click that link!

I'm installing the script as we speak (so your going to get funky messages). I'll let you know when I'm done so you can see the colors.

Everything is uploaded. Let me know what you think and what changes should be made. I changed the background color from grey to white.

When I think of sour the first thing that comes to mind is those 'Warhead' lollies we used to have years ago. So you are on the right track with the greens and yellow. Think of the color of limes and lemons. That's your color scheme - those colors immediately represent sour.

Also, one other important piece of advice - never show your brother. They always hate everything!

Great color schemes. Same as drummedout stated, the lime color really reminds me of warhead candies, sour candies I used to have when I was a kid.

BTW, nice content and the concept is nice too.

    Good luck buddy.
