Hi, I'm not gonna mention any sites here, but I'd like to ask what I can do about this situation. One of our members copied some threads from another site, which we dealt with. However there were some we weren't aware were copied and pasted from another site. The admin contacted us to rectify it, which we did. Another member from the same site, then kicked off on their site about a copied thread. He'd ask the original poster and myself to put a thanks/credit and a link to the original thread, which we did, but it's now been deleted. Today I've received another PM from one of the members telling me there's a thread on my site which is theres. However this thread was previously dealt with when we became aware of it, so it's not on the site any more. We've also put a thread up, telling members that copy and paste threads/posts are not allowed. I thought myself and the admin had worked something out, that if threads were like that, then original credit had to be given and a link to the original thread - however if one of our threads were posted there, they have the site name censored . There was another incident in between the two PMs regarding the same site, but I can't remember the exact details. Perhaps bullying is the wrong word but that's what it feels like, espcially regarding the PM today, with regards to a thread already dealt with as soon as we were made aware of it several weeks ago. The admin however did not reply to my PM regarding the situation, and I feel that the member (who's a staff member on the other site) won't read/reply to it either and I'm worried that they will do this again in the future. The website in question, has also been found to have threads which have been copied and pasted from other websites also, but they seem oblivious to it from what I can see.
