Website blocked

    Hi,

    my website blocked by 1 country and i like to know how can they block websites - by using website name or server ip

    or both

    ....
    how can i bypass this

    changing server IP enough ? or i have to change my domain ?

    You should contact your webhost. Some webhosts block all people from for example Iran by blocking a whole IP range.

    No i'm 100% sure my site blocked by government , they blocked only one service provider

    how can i bypass this ,

    changing ip?

    Have you checked from various locations in that country. May be ISP may be blocking that side.

    Lol, if you have a proxy site for example the Chinese goverment could block you. Nothing you can do about it ;)

    No here's the story

    they banned all adult website , and ask service providers to block them but private companies refuse to do that they said filters slow down their networks

    so only government own telecom blocked my site (with 1000 others) same thing happend 2 years ago ... 20% of my traffic is blocked i like to find solution

    If you can sent out a mass email, you could advise them to use a proxy site.
    Other then that, I don't have an answer for you.

    i can do that but not sure about all of them going to use proxys

    how they block websites ? IP block or domain

    In my experience they usually block the IP. If you can, try to ping the server through the banned ip

    there are several ways for it to be banned. Ip and domain is one, also packet filtering works.

    The best way for you to get around it is to get a proxy to the closest country or ISP that does not have these domains/ips blocked.
