    Hi everyone,

If you have a website has been banned by google, is it better to:

    a) Beg for forgiveness or,

    b) Just start over and forget about the last website?

All i did was follow the advice of some internet 'gurus' and buy an aged domain, then i posted backlinks everywhere....
    Thanks

You said you posted backlinks everywhere. Was it to a bad neighborhood? Was it possible the aged domain had some fluffed/fake PR?

    I would say start over.

If something is reversible, try your best in removing those bad links ( or whatever has lead to a ban ) and certainly appeal google to release the ban.

Send request to google, after removing bad links. You will surely get positive response from google..

    None is applicable.

"Rise and Rise again, until Lambs become Lions. "

    1. Watch carefully, always target to your niche related category.
    2. Only try to get backlinks from domains having valid google PR (1 - 10).

Maybe if your domain gets re-indexed but who knows, could have a red line through it, so at anytime in the future you make a little mistake, it could be all over for you. I would start over, and dont do what you did that got you in trouble, just accept it, move on, and lesson learned.

Not to keen on the whole begging to the man aspect but if your fond of the site you have to do what you have to do. I would definitely find out and make for sure you know what it is they banned you for so you don't run up against the same problem in the near future when you launch another site.

take a look to your google webmaster account
usually google webmaster will tell which link is bad
and if you find it you must erase it

By starting over with a new site, you might not know about what got your first website banned and you can commit the same mistake again in any misunderstanding.

If you are really looking to get your site back on Google, than I suggest you to contact Google (through Webmaster tools/Spam removal request, just Google it).

Make sure you don't go through with any black hat SEO techniques like hidden text, link farms, SPAMdexing and etc. Once you are clean with all these dirt techniques, rest assured you are going to stay on Google for a long long time.

    Best wishes,

Check your log files and see if the Google bot is still visiting, if it's not than you've been banned and should start over, but sometimes they'll just de-index you for a while (just Google messing with your mind). Unless it was already de-indexed when you got it or you did something against Google's TOS you might not be banned. If links coming from domains other than yours could get you banned then there'd be a whole lot of innocent websites banned who got sabotaged by their competition.

Did you ever know the reason for the banning? I would recommend you find out the exact (or most possible) reason for your banning site fist before sending re-inclusion request to Google. You should also make sure your site has really banned by them and just your own assumption.

If you do not care much and choose to start a new site instead. I would recommend you avoid the old tricks that got previous site banned, or you would be ended the same.

I think it is banned because Google didnt like the content. Just try to remove the content and start a new one. Maybe the problem will resolve.
