I can't seem to find this happeing to anyone else but here goes..

I have been with adsense for a couple years and run about 70+ sites running from classified ad sites to myspace sites to....

a couple days ago, my biggest adsense earning site - mustangtraderonline.com - was not showing adsense ads.. i thought it was a glitch but it continued to the next day.. since this is a big adsense earner, i had to remove the ads and put in YPN ads which do not earn as much..

my adsense account is fine and no other sites were affected.. i have tried many many ways to contact adsense but can't find a real way to contact them...

this site is a classified ad site for mustangs.. ads were being run for years on it and i haven't changed anything recently and i'm pretty sure i'm in compliance with them (i'd say definately but the fact that ads stopped displaying has me wondering)..

this DID happen over a year ago with a new site i put up selling cell phones and still to this day, adsense won't display on it..

does anyone know why this happens - is it a glitch - and how do i contact adsense to ask them what to do.. i've tried all the 'help' they have on their sites..

Good luck contacting Google. They have notoriously poor customer service.

Have you changed anything on your website at all recently?

My only guess is that it has some type of conflict with another ad you have on that website. I haven't used adsense in a while, but back then they did not allow you to run adsense on the same page as other similar ads. Perhaps they have decided that your ebay ads qualify in that regard.

I would try making a test page that is a copy of your homepage. Try removing some of the other ads and see if you can get the Google ads to work that way.

You need to check for any errors in your Adsense account, under the "site diagnostics" section. If your robots.txt blocks certain areas of your site, that may be the problem.

As the previous poster noted, good luck contacting Google and getting a human reply. You might find a quicker answer writing to Santa at the North Pole and getting a response from him around Christmas! :D

i've been running ebay ads for over a year also.. and yes i did create a test page with only 1 ad - an adsense ad - and nothing shows up on it.. mustangtraderonline.com/mustang_test.php

i'm worried an email from them might have gotten caught in my SPAM folders but i can't find it??

funny.. i just did a blog-post about how poor (non existent) the customer support is for Google Checkout. For Adsense, your only hope of support is via - did you try sending them an email?
I've sent them questions in the past and gotten responses within a few days.

In your screenshot, your domain shows as www.mustangtrader online, but your actual domain is mustangtraderonline.com/ (no www). Try adding the url without the www. subdomain to your adsense account and see what happens?

When google banned one of my sites, they sent me an email about it. The account itself remained and still is active, I'm just not able to display any ads on that site. My guess is that if you're an important publisher who delivers otherwise lots of quality clicks and impressions, they will want to keep you and will just issue a warning or block the site that's in violation. if you're not an important publisher, they will straight down cancel your account.

However I got an email about it explaining clearly which URL is banned and why they are banning it.

Even if you disallowed that domain, Adsense ads would still display on it. You just would not get paid for any clicks.

It's possible your server was down when the Adsense bot tried to crawl your site. If that's the case, when it re-crawls the site your ads should be active again.

    Good luck

Do this. Check the cache of your page in Google (actually view it). See if Adsense ads are displaying on the cached page.

adsense is not displaying on the cached page in google - what does that mean??

and adsense has not been displaying for 3 days now, so i'm guessing they crawl nightly?

That means that your entire domain is blocked for a reason most likely not related to crawling. Do your best to contact Adsense, but they tend to only send canned responses that do little to answer a specific question.

With all the talent at Google, it still amazes me they fail to give a reason why ads are not displaying. Site Diagnostics is great and all, but it is far from specific. If they listed specific information, then people could take action.

Try asking a question in the Adsense Help Forum. On rare ocassion a Google employee may help you.

    Good luck

thanks you.. yes i've tried the forum but only get some rookies replying with obvious stuff.. i put a search banner on my test page - mustangtraderonline.com/mustang_test.php to see if that worked and when you click on it, you get a 'forbidden' message.. so i guess that really tells me.. this is sooo strange for such a simple but large site that didn't violate any of google's policies and that was making both me and google money..

i've tried email them also, and get canned messages.. oh well, time to change to a new affiliate program
