I tend to get bogged down with the task of reviewing potential clients websites as I will do this by hand, checking the site over, looking at page titles, meta tags, key pages, html code, links, social signals etc. Doing things this way does produces a thorough and personal report but it is time consuming and at times when I'm busy it's often a task that gets pushed back. Initially I need a way to quickly run something that would highlight problem areas for further review or discussion and produce a report I can present to a potential client. Just wondering what others opinions are on this matter? Should I manually audit a website and produce a personal report or are there any tools and software that would produce such a report quickly and easily (either unbranded or that could be white labelled) that would speed this process up and support an email overview of problem areas?
