Website Appraisal

Hello all,

I got a forum with over 100k members. Gets over 1 million pageviews a month and 1/2 million unique visitors per month.

Is in alexa top 25k and makes about 4.5k $ pm in adsense.

What amount do you think should I sell it for ?

 

With a username like yours sell it to the real Bill Gates

how did you gather that figure though? what calculations go into it?

 

we need to see the domain name and the content type, so can you past your site domain name ?

but content type etc all boil down to monthly revenue which is as i mentioned 4.5 k $ pm.

The site is 5 yrs old.

go to godaddy or whatever other service that buy/sell domains with content, see the websites for sell and compare to yours

Or tell people that you want to sell it, and see what prices they offer.

 

the site price depend on the monthly profit, rank, visits, users, scripts, special programming scripts, content type, content mount and ofcourse and domain name it self .

your site worth like 125k - 150k , maybe it gonna be up little or down little, but as a public idea i guess it worth like that.

and if u need the exactly appraisal for your site, then you have to show us the url .

what does "4.5k $ pm " mean?
$4,500.00 USD per day or $4.50 USD per day?

if you making $4,500.00 USD per day then you are making millions and the site would be worth 2 to 5 times profit if not more - a cash cow.

500,000 unique visitors per month is 16,666 unique visitors per day

if you making $4.50 per day then something is wrong - if this is the case I think you would have trouble selling it in general. $135 per month would barley cover the cost of server and time to keep it running....however, if it is a gun site (for example) and I sold guns, that's a lot of potential customers to hit up. (I don't have anything to do with guns, just an example)

we're approximating 15 - 20k unique visitors per day and average 150 $ per day.

 

If the income is steady for the past 3 to 6 months then normally the practice is to sell domain at next 12 months revenue. But since this is not just a domain but a full website i.e. forum I would say it will sell for next 24 months revenue which will be 24 X $4500 = $108000

Yes value will increase once more details are given like what kind of forum it is, from where does it get traffic e.t.c.

If you are serious in your efforts to have your website appraised we would be happy to help. Keep in mind that appraising a website is much more involved than appraising a domain name. It will most likely take hours and hours of research in order to determine an accurate value.

 

$4,500/month for 1 million pageviews and 500k uniques...? not sure what your niche or forum is about, but you should be able to get that to over $10k/month easy if you know how to monetize a site.

if you're interested shoot me a PM... i help people monetize their sites for a piece of the increased revenue over a 5 month period (i.e. if you average $4.5k/month, and i can get you up to $10k/month, then for 5 months you would pay me 40% of the extra $5,500/month you are making).
