Hi. I've just finished with the major designs on my website and blog. Please review. My blog doesn't have much content yet. website - http://pajaroncreative.com/ blog = http://blog.pajaroncreative.com/
I think that your site is very very eye catching! I've seen many web design sites and I get bored fairly quickly. I love how you get straight to the point on showing the work you've done and not to mention, you write a brief summary in each one. in generalm I love it
looking good, you should think more of text that you place in your page. It should be more selling and not too technical.
Yeah, I'm really not a wordy person; I'm kind of O.C. - a little text that I don't like throws me off. Could you suggest to me how I would display text selling my service? Much appreciated.
May I know how it does not work? I've tested it on Firefox, Safari, IE 8 and 7, Chrome, and Opera and they all work. note: The form does not send the message if the fields are incomplete and also if the email address is invalid. The form will re-display itself with the labels of the required inputs highlighted as well as the first input that needs attention focused on.
Hey hes, Overall your website looks very nice; great colors, legible font. I really like that you have a photo of yourself front and center in your flash images. That makes your site and services more personable. How is your new website design converting? Here are 2 significant areas where conversion could be improved. Depending on whose research you believe, you either have 3 seconds, or somewhere between 4 and 7 seconds to answer 2 questions. The first one is “What can I do, buy or get here Since 'Web & Graphic Design’ is pretty clear, you are doing good there. The second question is, “Why should I do business with you instead of your competitors While you do say, "Simple, Creative, Effective." Not sure this is clear enough why I should hire you over your competition. You need to establish what's called a Unique Value Proposition. It defines your business’ target market, primary product/service benefit, and what makes your company unique in the market. This proposition is supposed to reach out to consumers, grab them by the lapels, and compel them to use your company. The UVP has to be exceptionally clear, visible, unequivocal and understandable. Clarity trumps clever. Clarity trumps persuasion. Second, make use of testimonials. I like that you have visual examples of the sites that you have worked on but it would be nice to see a written testimonial from a client you worked with; maybe that speaks to how the experience was working with you and the level and quality of service you provided. Before people will spend money with you or give you their e-mail address, they have to trust you. Written testimonials will help generate trust in your services. Addressing the these two issues should have a positive effect on your website’s conversion rate. Let me know what you think. Kindly, Shelby : )
Thank you so much for your reply Shelby, My site has been up for about 3 months now and the conversion is bad. I check Google analytics and I get about 25-30 visitors daily. So far I haven't landed a job through the site. I have had two people send me a message about a project but it didn't go anywhere. I started a blog hoping it could get me more traffic. I'll be working on the UVP you suggested and try getting testimonials from the clients I have worked with. Thanks again! Hes.
I visited your blog i would recommend you for some graphical design for your blog so that it look beautiful and attractive.
