    Hello ,

I will be very thankful to you if you give me some prices for the following ads:

    1) text link on your homepage/all pages
    2) text box ad 120x60, 125x125 on homepage/all pages

I have recieved this mail today.

i think somebody is making spam with my dp account. Because

1- sitename.com has a contact form but it's using an email like . (whois info is also using email)
2- this web site was only listed on my dp account. it was not listed on other forums.
3- if you look the sender mail, you will see somethink like
4- i know some dp users who get the SAME email with a different sender name.

is it possible to spam with dp profile? is it possible to find a way of making spam from dp profile? i think somebody has found it:(

    Thanks

Mail forms are subject to injections. I suggest you research your logs and possibly take down your form. I took down the form I was using due to injection issue.

also the fact that it was linked to from DP is enough for spam spiders to pick up on, regardless of where else it was or was not advertised.

It doesnt necesarily mean that it had anything to do with DP

I received the same email and it has nothing to do with DP. I never talked about the sites I promote here. It seems that a spammer was able to get my email from a website directory as I received this spam for 3 of the websites I am doing SEO for now.

I have just received the same spam. Here is the header:

    Some other interesting notes:

1- My site is not English, nor commercial (so we don't have any ads), so it is for sure it is not for advertisement purposes, it is for SPAMing.

2- He sent the email to email contact in whois report. So he is harvesting the emails from whois database. I'm 100% sure for it, because the account I received the email is a whoisguard protected email which is something like "..dbb342c0ae1872e51c6a4c7d.protect@whoisguard.com". It only exists in whois database, it automatically rotates in certain intervals, I have never used it anywhere (actually I don't even know the email, domain name service changes it automatically and forwards incoming emails to me) so he got it from domain database.

There emails were suppose to be protected for mass mailing, he must have breached into a whois database. (maybe he is an employee of domain company or smt.)

Don't post your email address and don't make your email accessible via post or form in forums...
