I have a question regarding adsense and traffic exchanges.. I know that adsense does not permit sites with adsense content to be put on traffic exchanges but i have a question about this.. My blog (http://venturefile.com) has a forum section and this forum section has no google ads.. So if my forums are on the page with no google ads and i advertise directly the forum url (http://venturefile.com/ventureforums) which does not show you the site with the google ads at all could that be a loop hole? I want generic traffic to my site that is why i would not put it on traffic exchanges but i believe that a TE would be a good place to get some more forum members.. What are your opinions about this? I do not believe Google penalizes sites that use AdSense ads and traffic exchanges, although I do not think traffic exchange links are as beneficial in Google's viewpoint as more authoritative links. Of course, some traffic exchanges may have poorer reputations than others.
Google TOS I think suggest that it has to be ethical and traffic exchanges are almost like advertising of your site so i would contact google adsense and ask to be sure.
Yes, you can promote your forum using traffic exchange program if it doesn't have any adsense ads on it.
I thought it was related to the showing of google ads but just wanted to be sure. Does anybody advertise on traffic exchanges? What are you experiences with them?
