I have submitted my website, www.netmoneymaking.biz, at ODP over 1 month, but so far I didnt see my website name there . What is the problem taking so much time ?
It's not a problem. You might have misunderstood our objectives and how we operate here. ODP is a volunteer organisation building a directory as a hobby. Editors edit where they wish, when they wish and as much as they wish within the constraints of their permissions. We have no schedules or systems to force people to do work that they don't volunteer to do. ODP is not primarily a free listing service for website owners and it does not attempt to process their listing suggestions within the time scales desired by them. Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.
Its probably been rejected. Looks MFA and really has nothing unique to add. Just another crap 'make money online' site - there are zillions of them and its really going to have to be an outstanding site in that niche if its going to be listed.
I agree jimnoble points. Probably ODP take too much time to approve. So, you have to wait 3 or 4 months..
Well, personally I think that it could prompt the OP to tweak out his site so that it will be more suitable for inclusion, helping both the ODP, the OP, and the end user by removing one more 'just another MFA site; and replacing it with something that actually has something to offer.... a message along the lines of... is all that would be needed to be said. It could also stop the OP from trying to resubmit in a few weeks thinking that the submission was somehow lost in the process...
So you are basically saying Editors should send an email and insult the person Great suggestion Q . That would really help
Well, look at the posting style of many of the editors here... insulting people IS their nature! That and ANY communication is better then NO communication.
I notice you didn't bother saying anything about your insulting nature but yeah, it's all IMHO, just like you being an editor is just your opinion rather then a verifiable fact.
It was your comment that provoked Snooks to comment that you wished us to insult editors. You want a debate about who insults who then you have it, but I shall not be part.
