Webring/Ringlink. Good or bad thing?

    Hi do you think a webring/ringlink is a good or bad idea to add to my online buisness?

    Depends on what your business is..

    I think they deter from the professionalism of a website, but if you are pushing a free service, then they might be a good idea.

    I agree with iBold here.

    Usually small sites about a specific topic join webrings. I personally don't like the idea of joining a webring.. as it takes away the professionalism from a site. If you have a small personal site, or some site about your hobbies, then its alright to join a webring.

    You'll never see a webring on big, established sites.

    Hi this is my site crystalglassfantastic.co.uk,(selling crystals) I would be carrying my colour and theme idea over to my webring page/pages if i do decide to add a webring.

    Webrings work well for hobby/club sites but other then that I would suggest you not use them. Just my two cents.
