WebmasterTrades.com - Need some critique before I launch and start advertising

    Hi everyone,

I've just been spending the past few days working on Webmaster Trades, a webmaster marketplace and exchange community, which I've been dieing to start for a couple of months now, but just only recently bought the domain WebmasterTrades.com, which I thought was perfect.

I've set up all the forums, set up a good looking skin, but I'm still working on the logo. Is there anything I should add to the forum (categories/forums) or any features/modifications to make it a better marketplace for the members?

    Anything I should change/remove?

Right now it has 30+ members and I haven't really launched it yet. When I've got some critique and finish the logo, I'm going to start promoting this site like crazy :D

    Thanks! :)

I like the design of the site and the topics look good. Off hand I don't see anything I would change.

I like the feel of the site and the topics you have in the forum. I bookmarked it and will definitely visit it later to see how it develops.

    Hi guys,

We are doing great now with 295 members and we just hit the 1,000 post mark! :D

I have a question though, which a member has suggested in the feedback forum. Would it be ok to add webmaster discussion forums?

Examples are forums for web development, graphics and web design, site promotion and marketing, revenue, PPC/CPC/CPM programs, affiliates, etc.

Or should I just focus on what the forum was meant to be for, a webmasters marketplace?

    Advice would be highly appreciated.

Nope, I paid some people to signup, purchased advertising space on a few sites and forums, and link to my forum through my signature.

It's the school holidays so I have all the time I need to promote my forum! :D

Discussion is always good. Will keep people coming back who are not primarily interested in the marketplace. This will mean people have everything they need in one forum and will become regulars.

Yes, you're definitely right about that all-in-one forum thing. I'll try and start a poll to see what they think.

    Thanks though ;)
