Most of us here are the webmasters so it is a matter of motivating yourself. Money is always a big motivational factor.
I know - but I am looking at this from an Affiliate Manger side ... that is why I am asking.. mone is yes, but what happens when a webmaster registers with us - but doesnt start to send traffic?
Webmaster must looking for some return . Beside of money , you maybe motive them with some result like traffic increase, bounce rate reduce , page view increase, conversion increase or page rank increase. As long they make them feel that they paid you for nothing. They paid for something and ofcourse they expect more back .

In General people are motivated to promote something more heavily after they experience it - I would set a trip in the system that after 1(or 2) week of traffic(meaning daily traffic) to the affiliate account they get a free 5 minute session..

Yes, the affiliate after meeting a set requirement would get a free session with a psychic.. that way they are more likely to promote more or validate the experience of the product
We always do the team work, so we motivate each other in the times of discouraged, depressed etc. We wish to AIM high than our targets, and we'll be talking to the Bigger things than what we need to do, so that we'll be doing the targeted things easily. This is the way, how we motivate ourseleves
I have some affirmations I do each day and try to read at least 20 minutes a day from self improvement books.
