i think logo is too big, the link rollover color needs changing cos ya cant read text, add more content on hamepage
Pros: Looks like the beginnings of some useful tools and content. Cons: 1. The header is big. This isn't necessarily bad because I can still see most of the content "above the fold". But the title and tagline logo don't really fill the header or look like they are a part of it. Also, I would expect to be able to click the header and return home and you do not give me this ability. 2. The link font and rollover color doesn't work with the background color. They just clash and make it difficult to read. 3. I clicked into the content a bit and found some missing graphics and a title that was all scrunched up. See both the article links on this page to see what I mean: http://www.webmastergalaxy.net/advice.php 4. On your "About" page you have a whole paragraph in bold and the header in Italics. Make the headers in bold and the paragraphs in standard font. Used judiciously, bold draws attention to important words or phrases. Used for paragraphs it makes it difficult to read and less likely to do the job of drawing attention where it is needed. Overall: It appears you are more interest in the technical than the design aspects of web pages. If that is the case, simplify the design and concentrate on the content you enjoy: go with standard nicely contrasting colors (how about black text on white background while leaving the header and page background blue) and really dig into making the content valuable and clear. People recognize valuable content if they are able to access it and understand it easily. After you find success with the content you can hire a designer to make it prettier or keep tweaking it on your own until you hit your "style". Cheers!
thnx, I apollogise about the missing graphics, this happened, because of a recent layout change I made and for some weird reason not all pages use the exact same code for the same thing, so I will have to edit them manually. However, I do like the header fairly large, because I believe It looks nice, and gives the site a certain touch. Your wrong, The design aspect is extremely important for me, I want it to look nice but to be easy to use and read aswell. If you could help me to improve it, please do. I will be implementing a new banner with a more greenish layout soon. I just need more content, as that's what actually attracts visitors. thnx.

My apologies, I didn't edit my post very well before submitting. I didn't mean you weren't interested in design, I meant you were better at the technical side of web pages. It was supposed to be a complement. If I were going to make one design change to improve the look, it would be to make it easier to read by using a dark font on a lighter background. Keep the banner and the blue on the left and right. Cheers!
oh, thanks. I'm not that good with colours, which is why it doesn't look as good as it should. What is going to happen, is that the blue background will stay as it is, but the lighter blue foreground, will be changed to a green colour and the banner will be changed slightly to suit this. I hope this will make the site look even better and make it more legible.

k, I will add that uploader in the future, however I think its more important as of now, to add more content and fix some of the sites bugs.
