I just reinvented one of my SEO sites, http://www.webmasterbrain.com/.

Any comments on the design, browser issues, and usability would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

The a hover is that purple color after you've clicked the link and the rollovers stop working.

I think the logo is far too small and so is the middle bit I would reduce the size of ads on the left and the column on the right

a little more color would be nice, but then you might loose your good ad blending.
But you should make the link colors after clicking diffrent by using a css

Thanks for the feedback so far.

I agree the site could use slight more colour, and maybe the logo is tad small (although making it bigger is difficult without disturbing the rest of the layout)

I disagree on these points, even though the feedback is still appreciated:

    • The purple visited links - I've stuck with purple visited links because this is the standard, and in terms of usability the best option - any other colour is gonna leave at least some short doubt which are visited links. I'll will find a better shade of purple though.

    • Narrow content area - From a usability perspective narrow columns are much easier to skim. Take Google as an example, their search results only span about 1/2 of the page width at a 1024 x 768.

Is there any way to test it. I loved it as PROG.

Prog doesn't exist anymore. The SEO Scanner tool does something different (I assume that's what you're referring to).

I'm rebuilding SEO Scanner, since at the moment it doesn't quite live up to user expectations, when I update their will be a free guest mode, so just check back in a few weeks, and you should be able to test it.
