I've been using that forum for several years, strange not being able to get to it today. Thanks for that link
I mentioned about facilites which WMW doesn't provide to posters. like search, thread and you cannot post URLs as freely as you can post here or anywhere else.
Thats a good thing though, less spammers coming along and placing garbage in the forums, unless you keep on top of it its a nightmare.
The server that Threadwatch was on suffered serious problems with MySQL being screwed (I've only just been able to finish clearing that up today). Webmasterworld, on the other hand, seems to have have a screwed datacenter.
They provide the code to search on the site via Google. The search box even appears at the top. I'm no huge fan of WMW but it only takes around 30 seconds to set up the search
I guess their host, Webhost, is down and with no backup center, it would take 1-2 days to set up with a new host. So, Brett is just waiting. I like this forum a lot as it seems a bit more relaxed.
Their tracert shows that they're on rackspace. I thought they were with Westhost. Maybe they were changing hosting companies and something got screwed up!
Ack! Looks like they got a wacko for an admin! Look at the first word at... http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum78/
