Webmaster Vs Sr.Search Engine Optimizer

I am sorry if i am posting it in a wrong place...

I just wanna knw which post is more valuable in terms of a company point of view..Is it webmaster or Sr.seo

You mean employment wise?
Employment wise, I'd say webmaster because they generate much more money.

Well my question relates to know both the sides [employment wise, responsibilies, career wise]

 

Both are equally important to an organization. But if a company is not selling much online, then definetely Webmaster is important and SEO Expert is more important in the other case.

Plus its really hard to find a good SEO these days, so it gives more weight to an SEO.

 

Why not both? it is easy to learn seo? i guess. if you dont have knowledge in both areas then choosing seo for me is better.

 

i think it depends.
for Adult sites, IMO, its webmasters
for corporate sites, its SEO.

My comment would be that its good to keep your skillset broad in today's fast moving world, so a move between the two defo has its advantages
