Webmaster Tools - Robots.txt issue

    Hey there webmaster tool experts!!!
I've just setup a new site on wordpress - and I used the privacy settings, so it wasn't indexed by google, until I'm ready!

However, now Ive changed that setting - to be indexed by search engines (seen by everyone).

However, in webmaster tools, it still says: access blocked by robots.txt!!!!

Any advice would be dearly appreciated!

    Cheers.
    Sam

Just keep updating the blog and submit sitemap to google.
Google normally updated the GWT in a few days interval.

You must have blocked the Robots access. Can your share your URL for better understanding of your problem. See that your home page META TAGS shows <meta name="ROBOTS" content="index, follow" />

try to delete the robots.txt.. then help googlebot to index your site by gathering more links..

Google is damn slow at rechecking your robots.txt one it prohibits Googlebot. Allow Googlebot and stay cool. The beast will be back...but it can take up a month until they update the data. Lousy webmastertools should have a button that says "check my robots.txt again".
