Webmaster tools lies?

I have in my google webmaster tools:

"Googlebot has successfully accessed your home page.
Pages from your site are included in Google's index."

and

"Sitemap stats
Total URLs: 2,202
Indexed URLs: 1,140"

But I can not see any page in google. I use "site:" operator or just type the site address.

What is that

 

I havent come across this so far, but I have seen google not indexing all the urls submitted in the sitemap. Try using "+site:yoursite.com" to see if pages from your site are coming up in google.

 

Another way could be to type "site:yoursite.com yoursite.com" - and see if Google shows up any results searching your sitename within your site / domain.

Haven't come across this before though - what is the site name and did you check on Google.com or was it on local country specific Google Server?

 

How to know that Google visited my site? any notification or alert for this?

site:sitename.com sitename.com did not match any documents.

The other strange thing that I have in webmaster tools is "Top search queries" with keywords and positions that were updated Aug 2, 2009. It means that the site has some google rankings !!
