Webmaster tools is useless...

The one site I've put a lot of time/effort into is being reported by webmaster tools as NOT indexed (see screen shots). Which is a lie.. If I type google.com into my browser and perform: "site:jruck.com" - there's 2 results. If I perform that same query on a different datacenter (manual http://data.center.ip.here), some of them return 70 indexed pages. Why can't I get the 70 results from home, but I can get them from a Middle Eastern Coffe Cafe three miles down the road?

I don't have a sitemap uploaded, but I've never needed one before. And I'm not really concerned about being indexed/getting indexed/etc.. My concern is google webmaster tools reporting the fact that I'm NOT indexed, when I get 2 results from home, and 70 at other places. I'm getting THREE different responses - WTF?

Also.. My sites keep being "unverified" when I know damn well I verified them. Including the one in the screen shots below, which is the first site I've ever sent to webmaster tools - but all of a sudden it's not verified?

Sounds like a bunch of crap... Can anyone clear this up or shine some light on the situation?

    Thanks guys.

    ------addition------------

link:www.jruck.com returns 0 results, which is bullshit, too. Google has a lot of my posts here on DP indexed (my signature included) - do those not count as backlinks?

I'm not very happy with google - more aggrevation than anything..

yes you are right I have also added meta tags and added a html file to verify my site

but these Google webmaster tools say it your site is not verified

and also we should never rely on these webmaster tools as they are taking results from only one particular DC

The service does have it's issues but it's still the best way to see how your site is ranked for particular keywords.

    thats hardly googles fault.

Unless you verified it and its now unverified?

Google has a caps lock issue at the moment.

My sites initially had a file called GOOGLE0912752975.html to verify but now they are wanting google0912752975.html instead which causes it to become unverified until you alter the file name.

I've had both problems, verifying and indexed. For a month webmaster tools had verified and shown my site as indexed then last week it said none of my pages were indexed (although google shows them) and that I needed to verify my site.... things are back to normal now though

    Great reading comprehension skills..

"My sites keep being "unverified" when I know damn well I verified them. "

So yes - the site(s) were verified at one time, now they're showing "NOT VERIFIED"

Just logged in and attempted to verify - it worked, instantly, for the third time. Lets see how long it takes to become "unverified" again..

Still wonder why only two pages are showing up in the index from my Home & Work connections, but not the coffe cafe down the street.. The coffe shop is showing 70 indexed pages. What the hell?

sorry about that i should of read it again first,

it happened to me too, but i dont see how its completly useless? Yes theres teething issues, but its still a perpetual beta.

Its also much better than yahoo sitemaps, and msn doesnt have anything at all.

The query stats, i dont see msn or yahoo giving that away.
    Crawl rate.
    Site issues of unreachable urls.
    Time taken to download pages.

Thats all useful information. Its also the first place most people will ever know about why there site was fully delisted from google (hacked sites read matt cutts blog).
